Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the operators of PlayMU.NET ("we", "us"). If you don't agree with any part of these Terms, please don't use the site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• Tell us immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Rules.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, scripts) to vote, scrape content, or generate traffic.
• Upload malware, phishing links, or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Impersonate other people, servers, or organizations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to our infrastructure.
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate illegal activity.

4. Server listings

PlayMU.NET is a directory. We do not own, operate, or endorse the third-party MU Online servers listed on the platform. Each listing is created and maintained by the server's owner. We make reasonable efforts to remove fraudulent or harmful listings, but we don't guarantee the accuracy, safety, or availability of any third-party server.

If you play on a listed server you do so at your own risk. Disputes with a server owner (refunds, lost items, account issues) must be resolved with that server directly.

5. Paid promotion and payments

• Premium badges, featured slots and ad placements are paid promotional features. They are clearly labeled and do not influence the organic ranking.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your full card details — see our Privacy Policy.
• Wallet top-ups and promotional purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law or in cases of fraud or duplicate charges.
• Promotional placements may be revoked without refund if the underlying listing violates these Terms or our Community Rules.

6. Intellectual property

The PlayMU.NET name, design, source code and aggregate content are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit (comments, listings, banners), but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce and adapt that content as needed to operate the platform.

"MU Online" and related marks are property of their respective owners. PlayMU.NET is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Webzen Inc. or any official MU Online operator.

7. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the platform, from third-party servers listed here, or from any unauthorized access to your account.

9. Termination

You can stop using the platform at any time and delete your account from the profile page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, our Community Rules, or if continued use poses a risk to other users or to the platform.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where PlayMU.NET is operated. Where you are a consumer with mandatory rights under your local law, those rights are unaffected by this clause.
